The
Ameson RS120 amplifier |
| |
This
is a single channel, 120 Watt amplifier suitable for guitar and string bass.
Voiced by Roy Sainsbury and engineered by Michael Ameson using the best
quality components currently available, it out performs and has a more natural
sound, than any other high power solid state amplifier we have seen and
heard. |

SPECIFICATION |

Input
stage: Composite two section high impedance input stage with 20X
gain. Uses selected audiophile passive components and precision operational
amplifiers for superb performance and low noise. |

Equalisation:
Three section classic passive network with selected component values for
optimised response. |

Output
stage: Traditional Hitachi mosfet based output stage for ultra
low distortion and noise. Power output is 120 Watts rms into 8 Ohm speaker
load. Core screened purpose designed toroidal transformer for maximum efficiency. |

selection: Operates in any country of the world, on 100/120 or
220/240 volt supplies. User switch selected. |

Connectors:
All preamplifier jacks
are Neutrik gold plated items, for maximum connectivity and reliability. |

Ameson RS Tube 50 Amplifier |

RS loudspeaker enclosures
are hand constructed from 12mm Birch plywood, with MDF
baffles and 15mm Birch plywood back panels. Cabinet interiors are lined
with a unique material to avoid resonance and feedback
problems when used with electro/acoustic guitars. |
