Conveniently
situated at Unit 1c, Dawley Trading Estate, Stallings Lane, Kingswinford,
DY6 7HT, this facility is adjacent to MAJ Electronic, and consists of
two rooms. Katz 1 is 8 metres x 5 metres in size. Katz II is 10 metres
x 4 metres, and is laid out differently to Katz 1. Our aim is to provide
a clean, amiable, secure rehearsal facility for musicians, whether they
be old timers (sorry lads) or up and coming youngsters. |

coming in here gets ONE chance, and one chance ONLY.
Any nuisance/abuse/arrogance/attitude/make a mess, you are not welcome.
For example we are quite happy to provide refreshments for you but I'm
dammed if I'm picking the up the wrappers from the floor (I'm NOT your
mother...)
We DO NOT accomodate Death Metal/Heavy Metal/Thrash Metal/Bone Metal/Deaf
Metal/Zonko Metal/From the planet Zarg Metal/I am a Lulu Metal/I have
big Army boots Metal/Set all the amp controls on FULL Metal/Destroy the
drum kit/Try all the gear out at full chat because I have none of my own/
bands. Please go elsewhere and quick - There is more to life and Rock
music than this and it ain't my problem - I don't want to KNOW!
If something fails, that is not a problem, but physically broken equipment/drum
heads or any damage to the room caused by dicking around you will be expected
to pay for it - period....
Please
do NOT try to hide something if it gets broken - the camera does not lie
and it all comes out when we look at the video......
The
most IMPORTANT thing TO US is that we need to know of ANY problems so
we can address them right away. Please do not be afraid - we don't bite
and look at all problems sympathetically..
WE
are frequently asked by local promoters for contact numbers for "good"
local bands. With your permission we will pass these on. NO commission,
all part of the service. Sincereley hope you do well.
At least one adult must accompany any band with any members under 16 years
old, unless previously agreed with KATZ owners.
IF
YOU BOOK A SLOT AND FAIL TO TURN UP WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE THERE IS NO CHARGE,
BUT DON'T ASK AGAIN...

system is in operation 24/7, and records both rooms, kitchen, and the car
park simultaneously.The content will only be referred to in case of any
discrepancy or argument... |

our equipment is correctly maintained and safety tested, and the ring main
is earth leakage protected. Other equipment may be also be available. You
may of course bring and use your own equipment, but please ask first. Do
not connect your equipment to ours, in any way, again unless you ask first. |

Indemnity: You may rehearse and practice here as long as you
fully understand that no liability will be accepted by the owners for
any loss, damage or injury to yourselves, however caused. By paying for
the room you are accepting this clause. |
